"Crashed 10 times in 2 days, old version never crashed"

    May 3, 2011  |   By rickmcclanahan

    it's a great configurable browser

Version 4.0 crashes constantly for me on a windows 2000 machine where 3.6.17 never crashed. Facebook picture viewer disappears when trying to view photos and firefox crashes unexpectly frequently

I reverted back to 3.6.17 and am content right where I am

Windows 2000 machine? Have you tried to upgrade to XP? How old is your computer? I am running XP SP3 and my computer specs aren't as up to date as those required to run Firefox 4.0.1, but, I'm not having issues at all. Am going to be buying a new laptop and will Firefox 4 on it. Good Luck to you with your computer.
