"Well, It has Arrived!"
This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.
When the download finally came, I downloaded it, installed it, restarted my Mac, and the following took place:
Two plug ins were not compatable; Safari Tidy, and Pith Helmet; both are gone!
I started Safari and the "blue bar is back! There is an "awesome bar" like Chrome and Opera, so you have to add .com.net.edu-etc. I did some observations on web page loading; it is snappier and faster; you have a clear Develop menu; that's where you assign a user agent in case a bank requires a certain site check. This browser has a bit of Chrome and Opera built into a "smaller" footprint 14 MBs of space vs 58 MBs for Chrome and 27 for Opera. I have several tests to continue to run; yes it has excellent security, including a sign in the bar stating PRIVATE.
I will comment further and review again with an update; you are suggested to "remove" any plug ins, so you will have no conflicts on installation. FYI I removed 31 MB of languages other than English. It does pass the acid 3 test!
I also set my database history file to Zero, so the history file will be removed!
That's it for now!
