  "Horrible Browser"

  Pros

  The overall interface is well done. The 'start page' with bookmarks is a novel touch. In theory, browsing should be faster.

  Cons

  First and foremost, the pages it renders are a complete mess. Compare ANY of the top websites to the Safari counterparts and you'll see what I mean. At best, the pages are ugly. At worst, they're downright useless. Why didn't CNET address this?

  Summary

  Don't believe the hype. This browser isn't ready for prime-time. I gave it more than a quick spin mainly because I wanted to like it. In the end, it's pretty much useless. It's comical how misleading the review above is. Shouldn't take (most) people long to figure out how pathetic this browser really is.
  
  THE BEST browser on the iPhone BY FAR is 'Perfect Browser 3'. I'ts a buck but well worth it. None of the ugly rendering mess of Opera. (pages look the way they're supposed to.) Tabs, full screen and the ability to lock the orientation are just a few of the cool features. Though it's trivial, the icon's also really cool (especially if you have a jailbroken iPhone with the Glass Orb Theme.)

  I'm with you 100%. Most common webpages are optimized for safari on the iphone and look like crap in Opera. Why didn't the review address this?

  I Must agree - I really tried to like it, but the page rendering make this a useless app for me....will keep it in hopes of an update!
