"It's a lean mean browsing machine."
Pros
It's super fast compared to other browsers and get the job done. Plus it is very well organized for getting around the web quickly. The bookmark bar is great for my top favorites, and the rest of my bookmarks are easy to find in the slide down menu.
Cons
Not compatible with every web site, but then IE is the dominant browser and even Firefox has compatibility issues. Other than that goes to all sites I like to visit.
Summary
I love Chrome! I was an early adopter and I feel my experience has been well rewarded. I love the speed, but part of what makes it even faster is the bookmarks on the bookmark bar, along with the customizable home page with your most visited sites makes getting where you're going that much faster. When I do go back to IE and Firefox I feel like I have to make five steps more than I do in Chrome. The Omnibar, the bookmark bar, and the home screen are all great examples of making browsing fast and easy to operate. The speed itself is amazing; when the browser starts up, and when opening new tabs it makes web surfing and general browsing a pleasure. Now Firefox and IE 8 both have their strengths as well and I do use them still for certain tasks, however, the majority of my web browsing is now done using Chrome. Try it, and after getting used to the differences from other browsers you will find Chrome to be a great experience. And you will find that most of the time you will likely prefer Chrome as your main browser. Happy browsing!
