"New toys added, but old toys not working so well."

    January 29, 2010  |   By sparrowhyperion

    Pros

    Faster browsing, Some new features.

    Cons

    Loss of stability...

    Summary

I switched to Firefox as my main browser some time ago. I was sick of the instability with IE and needed a change. Up until now, Firefox has been very very stable. Unfortunately, ever since I installed the 3.6 update, stability seems to gone right out the proverbial window. I get an average of 7-8 complete Firefox crashes a day and sometimes more. They are bad enough to either hang or shutdown all open Firefox windows. And on one occasion it took down Windows 7 with it. I still use it because it is light years better than IE and I just can't stand Chrome, but they need to bring the stability back.
