"In the top two at this point"

    April 7, 2009  |   By mitchjmh

Chrome is a fine browser. It displays web pages with a cleaner look than the other browsers and displays them faster than the other browsers.

It lacks a password management menu with a master password and lacks a menu option to switch to a new tab automatically when a link is to be opened in a new tab.

It's not as go to as Firefox is for me right now. That may change but as of now Chrome is the second best. I see a lot of reviews saying it crashes a lot - it doesn't crash and hasn't crashed since I downloaded it - it sounds like the people in those reviews need to upgrade their computers and connections and quit using a 16 bit dialup modem on a 386 desktop. I also see a lot of reviews that say it's better than Firefox - it is not at this point but it is better than Opera because unlike Opera, Chrome actually pulls up all websites and displays the text on those websites properly. If Chrome were compatible with Firefox add-ons, then it would rule the browser world, but until that happens it is number two.
