"One of the worst browsers"
It's got a nice interface and is faster than some of them out there. It's totally free and will always be free but...
The new version, 3.x is being developed with Google's help and this means that some Google programs will be in the browser. You can be assured that stuff similar to the Google Web Accelerator will be in there and so from version 3.x and on, nothing you do online will be secure anymore. Using IE would be more secure. Google will then use Firefox to keep track of everything that you do and this actually includes things like bank passwords, they admit this on one of their support websites. Leave this one alone once it hits 3.x. Use Opera instead, or IE7.
