"VEEEEEERY slow and heavy on the CPU usage"

    June 14, 2007  |   By dodenwald

I love the wide variety of add-ons. Found some that I hate to live without. Uses just over half the memory of IE.

CPU usage is through the roof - 99% (even when its not loading a page) - causing me to browse like a slug. IE used 2% on the same sites when a page was loading, but quickly went back to 0%. I have 2 add-ons that I dearly love - the problem is that FF will not keep their configuration settings when it closes. Everytime I open FF I have to reconfigure my add-ons. I'm using IE a lot more lately and learning to live without my add-ons, but I really wish there were a browser with all the features of FF out there that actually worked.
