"SkypeOut....Like a visit to the DMV and a root canal in one!"
Pros
None so far
Cons
It is IMPOSSIBLE!!! to pay for credits for international calls if you're from the U.S. First I tried using two differant platinum credit cards with pristine credit, both Visa and Mastercard, but was rejected after repeated attempts. I next try to send a help request to the e-mail address they offer for support. After leaving a detailed account and the send button is pushed, that whole effort is erased and I am diverted to another "help"? page which tells me the same things it told me before. More time is wasted scouring their forums only to discover that they don't accept credit cards from the U.S....imagine that! But you can use something called "MoneyBookers". Ok, let's try that. After filling in that form it askes for a "mobile number" for "instant verification". What the heck is that? Ah, they have a live chat support button, great. Click that. Oh, diverted to a "send e-mail question" prompt. That done there's a notation to check my e-mail for a verification message. One hour later....still no message in my mailbox. Do yourself a favor....don't waste your time until they get their mess ironed out. At least for SkypeOut computer to international calls! Hey Skype, can I have credit for the hours I wasted?
