I've never encountered corrupt archives.
Manages many different formats.
Very good compression.
Good integration with filemanager's context menus.
Easy to split archive into specified sizes.
The price for good compression is slightly slower compression-speed.
The interface requires, maybe, more time to get used to than e.g. winzip.
Not the same user base as the zip-format (i.e. winzip or winxp compressed folders).
If you want to create an archive that should stand the time - use winrar. It's very solid.
It's a product to trust.
