    "obnoxious activation"

    Pros

    I liked that it made selecting duplicates in specific directories very easy.

    Cons

    The registration/activation process is beyond obnoxious. I paid for the software, and still I can't use it. After struggling with it for a couple of days, I demanded a refund.

    Summary

    Decent software marred by a short-sighted, obnoxious "activation" scheme. Apparently, some people will never learn that "product activation" on software is anti-customer and serves only to drive legitimate customers away. I suggest using one of the free alternatives to this product instead, such as Duplicate Cleaner.
