    "Logic error on Incremental backup"

    December 3, 2011  |   By BrianWesterman

    Pros

It does back up data, but slowly, and apparently the incremental logic is faulty

    Cons

I created a full backup on Thursday night that ran for about 55 minutes to backup my 80GB primary and 2TB secondary drive, then on Friday night, tried to create an incremental backup of the same drives, but finally cancelled it after it was still running an hour later.

I had expected it to run VERY quickly as not much could have changed, I didn't defrag the drive or anything, but I do use the PC extensively every day. Still, Acronis TI 2011 (the 2012 version is bad) is able to do that same incremental in under 3 minutes.

    Summary

Maybe I'll try it again in a year or so, especially if Acronis TI 2013 is as bad as 2012 was.

    Dear BrianWesterman,

Generally, our product will not cost so much time to do the incremental backup. We cannot confirm your problem clearly. If possible, please send us the 'easeus.log' and 'TbLogsysClient.tblog' to our email: support@todo-backup.com. You can find them under 'bin' folder in the installation directory of our product. Thanks for your cooperation.
