    "Installation error, run-as-service error, non-existant support"

    During installation, the application over-wrote, and then did not register, xceedzip.dll, which broke another application on the server.

    I tried to configure the application as a service (repeatedly, using a variety of options), with no success. Their documentation clearly states that run-as-service is possible, but how to do that escaped me, another Network Admin, and their on-line Help documentation.

    Repeated emails to their support group were met with black hole silence.

    So, in a nutshell; I had an install error (very unprofessional), a configuration error (they said it could so something, and it couldn't) and a response error.

    What a mess. Sadly, I ponied up the dough before encountering these problems. Flush goes the buckazoids.
