    "One of the best free AV programs on the market."

    Pros

    Very user friendly but also provides advanced users with various customization options and detailed reports. Avast is a non intrusive program which works in the background, but notifies the user daily (usually twice daily) of virus definition file updates.

    Cons

    None and I have used Avast as my AV for several years.
