    "Best Free Antivirus"

    Pros

    Offers multi-shield full protection. Does not use heavy resources.

    Cons

    Forces install of Chrome as default browser. Web shield does not load with services of other programs. One must uninstall Chrome. One must click on settings followed by troubleshooting. One must then select "Load avast only after loading all other system services." This should be done by default. Also, select "Do not use Chrome as avast default browser." I use Firefox and I had to let it reset itself as default browser even after uninstalling Chrome.

    Summary

    Needs improvement but is best free AV.
