"Only in use for 7 days but seems to be doing its stuff."

    September 14, 2012  |   By Peternosmas

    Nothing in particular

New layout takes some getting used to. Would like to have the history records accessed directly on the user interface instead of having to click on Options and then History > Scan results. Also the "About AVG" seems to be only about AVG Internet Security which is installed on a 30 day trial. There seems to be nowhere that the virus definitions file number is displayed. On the previous version I always checked this each morning on http://free.avg.com/gb-en/download-update to make sure my system was using the most up to date file. Also what is the Event History Log supposed to display? It has remained blank since AVG 2013 was installed.

Have you tried running "chkdsk" after installing " AVG AntiVirus FREE 2013"?
