    "not likely"

    June 19, 2012  |   By cralef

    Pros

    I don't care!

    Cons

    not compatible with Zone Alarm

    Summary

I've been using Avira for a couple of years. I started to upgrade. It told me that the new version was not compatible with Zone Alarm and it would be disabled. Guess who loses.

    Updated on Jun 19, 2012

    Sorry that wasn't Avira.
But Avira constantly includes ASK toolbar files. I don't even want those on my system. I have to boot into safe mode to get rid of them.

That is the downfall for using free software. There is always some useless B.S bundled to it. But Avira does give you the options not to install it.
