  "It's pretty Awesome.."

  Pros

  I'm using the 64bit version, it's fast as hell, I mean it opens in a second and scans really fast - of course I'm on a really high end PC i7 2600k 3.4ghz with 8 gb of memory so it's fast... Loving it.
  
  but even on a less powerful computer you can do other things while you scan so it's not a big deal.
  
  It's a great App.. and for free it's pretty Awesome..

  Cons

  This does not happen often but twice after an update from AVG could not get my computer back up and running.. (AVG did come out with a fix but that down time was scary as hell) on because my computer was down so how do I even get to the net and do the update, but lucky for me I know a little about PC's so I did a system restore and went back to before the update and was fine..
  
  Hopefully this will never happen again..

  Summary

  for free, it's an amazing program, and I feel AVG is big enough now that they pretty much catch most of the viruses out there... So it's worth getting this and using it as your main virus protection software..
  
  just download it and enjoy..
