    "Unknown features"

    December 29, 2011  |   By Old-Navy

It does a good job of protecting my computer.

There is a new feature called Family Safety. Nothing was said about it or where it is or what it does. It sets itself up as protector(?) of our virtues. It seems that it also will not let you onto the Internet after a certain period of time. I set NOTHING up in the program, I didn't know it was there, and it wouldn't let my wife onto the Internet one night. I quickly uninstalled it!

    Be wary of this upgrade.

    Hello Old-Navy,

please be informed that AVG Family Safety is a standalone product (1st release was in April 2011) and is not automatically installed on user's computer with AVG products.

Else could you please discuss this situation (and the issues with AVG Family Safety) with us at CNET AVG Forum or AVG Forums?

    Thank you
