    "Solid protection + automatic updates!"

    Pros

    Simple and FREE protection that's not overbearing with lots of reminders that it's there. It works effectively in the background and can even be put into silent mode. It doesn't hog system resources either!

    Cons

    I haven't had any problems or drawbacks.

    Summary

    Using safe practices when online and having Avast to handle what still gets through has been working WELL for me! Thanks to the Avast team for a GREAT product!
