    "free and saved a computer that got infected"

    Pros

    fast and free and does not slow down older PCs; announces with a verbal voice and a cool blue square that it has updated within minutes of booting if a new definition is available.

    Cons

    none because it works and does it fast

    Summary

    This works with older Win 2000 PCs as opposed to McAfee and Norton which have abandoned those operating systems.
    One notice for anyone who hates the "radio faceplate" skin: go into the Program Settings/Common menu and remove the check maark for "Enable Skins". the whole program will work faster if you need to use the menu system.
    (Get into the menu by Right Clicking the rotating blue "a" circle in your lower right near your clock)
