    "Best Anti-Virus Available"

    April 2, 2009  |   By iceman721

Small footprint, very light on system resources, stable, large virus definition library. Seamless updates, very quick to scan entire system. Hassle free, worry free.

Not one that I can think of in over a year of heavy use. I just renewed for year 2 ($40.00) for the entire security suite & not just the anti-virus.

This is the best Anti-Virus/Security Suite I have ever owned. I payed about $90.00 at a Microcenter for the entire security suite (version 3.0) after a long conversation with the salesman. I went back 5 months later and thanked him for a solid recommendation. This product is fantastic. I have had Norton (over rated), McAfee (horrible) products in the past and thought that Anti virus either took up huge amounts of system resources (Norton) or conflicted with every piece of software I purchased (McAfee). Not with Eset. This is a great software package. I see a small pop-up in the right corner of my screen once or twice a day letting me know that it has just automatically downloaded the latest virus definitions. That's it! No slowdown at all of system resources or additional intrusions. It just does its job quietly and competently. I was pleasantly surprised to find that I only had to pay $40.00 for my renewal of the entire security suite rather than the $90.00 I paid initially. I would not buy just the Anti virus product get the whole suite for peace of mind. It works flawlessly with Vista. The only other products I would even consider other than this are Bitdefender (heard very good things about that) or Kaspersky (also heard good reviews but you need to have a high technical IQ to use).

For overall simplicity and effectiveness get this and go on with what you are doing and rest assured that you are protected!
