    "AVG's collaboration with Yahoo is a mistake"

    Pros

    I haven't seen any real improvement over AVG 8.0, but that version works exceedingly well.

    Cons

    AVG 8.5 doesn't integrate properly with the Securtity Center in Vista-64. The Center thinks that AVG is out of date. The worst feature is the so-called AVG Security Toolbar. This POS breaks IE7 and disables the manual configuration control panel.

    Summary

    Don't bother with AVG 8.5. Stick with the older version or find a different anti-virus solution.
