    "Excellent and Free for Private user."

    Pros

    Easy to download and use. I have used AVG for some 6 years. Updates daily and deals with warnings and viruses.

    Cons

    When scanning it does take over 4 hours to scan, so if you only use the PC for say 3 hours then you have to stop the scan abd empty the Virus Vault. I do not find this a problem. So not really a con just an observation.

    Summary

    My comments above cover my summary. I will continue to use AVG, as it does what it says - "On the Tin." No fuss no bother it does scans quietly as you work on. Well done CNET & AVG.
