    "AVG reminds me of Norton......."

    Pros

    This software was very good and it seemed that anyone that got a new hard drive got this software downloaded (free) so that was a good promotion.

    Cons

    In the last couple of year, the size of the software has grown out of proportion to the capabilities of the program which, in my opinion is a negative. I understand that they are cutting on the "free" portion of the process. In any case, it reminds me of when Symantec took over Norton and made perfectly good software bloated and resource hungry. Sad indeed. Have a good day.
