"Useless! Read for details and proof."

    July 2, 2008  |   By CyberWoLfman

Only thing good about the software was that it was free. LOL

For starters, the firewall in it was garbage. For proof, try something like the Shields Up thing on the web. The anti-virus was just a demo. You can right-click on something to have it scan, and it looks like it's doing something, but, doesn't tell you the results.

Try to find something better guys, unless you're just looking for something to use up disk space and system resources . . . LOL Had to select one star because the the site wouldn't let me submit a review without doing that. Too bad there's so few things that work the way they're supposed to, anymore. *sighs*

Avast has a light firewall...thus if you need a full fledged firewall, you need to use Comodo Pro (free).

the registration is free. just go to their website and register it. also, after the scan, it will only pop up if there is a virus. if it is clean, nothing happens.

Avast does not contain a firewall it is just a antivirus thats why it failed the shields up test, it has a network shield that scans the network for malicious programs but is not a firewall, get Comodo Pro for your firewall
