    "Avast! is excellent"

    Pros

    --- Try Avast! - free for the download from Alwil in 26 language versions.

    --- I have it running on three old Celeron PCs in use with Win2000Pro. It updates autmatically and free registration is good for 14 months.

    ---The spinning blue icon indicates when it is scanning while web surfing, reading email, and downloading.

    ---A voice gently announces when the auto update has finished (can be silenced).

    ---Thanks to Alwil for providing a free product from the Czech Republic! !
