Pros

Is free, clean, stable, fast, secure and safe. Goes far beyond other p2p filesharing. Forget the very slow problematic filesharing that others such as freenet offer. This is filesharing for 2006 and beyond. Other p2p including bittorrent should be left behind in the past, as they are vulnerable and weak. This is a really great filesharing solution for anyone with unlimited cable or dsl connections.

Cons

i2phex dot tk and the sourceforge project are not offical sites for i2phex. They were put up by a well known spammer. This is noted as a con, since many people might get the wrong idea about i2phex from the spammers websites and forum rantings. The official i2p website is at www dot i2p dot net where you can download the offical installers for i2p, i2phex and visit the forums for support.

Java, the java runtime requires a large amount of memory. In order to use this client users need to run two instances of the runtime, one for i2p and one for i2phex. In order for the client to even load i2p must be running first and for at least 5 minutes. Then the client will load and work fine.

Bandwidth, requires a good consistant connection with enough speed, meaning anyone on 56k dialup, is likely to have problems.
