"Not what I expect from Corel Paintshop X3"

    April 20, 2010  |   By RLJSlick

Paintshop has always had a great tool set, you get a few new ones this time around like Object Removal. I love that I can use any number of key combos, I've learned a great deal of Key combos over the years, so I can move quickly though my pictures.

Buggy. For the second time in a row, Paintshop come out with a buggy software. I had it crash on my a few times, but the biggest bug, and one that I've seen before it the save option, where when you save a photo it doesn't finish saving and just hang

I think I need to start looking for a new digital photo program, I really love Paintshop but everything a new one comes out I have to deal with the bugs. I mean the save bug is back and I'm having issues being able to save a edited picture. I also don't like what they did to the Text tool, they changed the way it work and personally its not as user friendly as before. There are a few other odd things I saw I didn't care for but they are minor. Overall the software works about as good as X2 though again the bugs are a show stopper. Be smart and wait until a few patches come out then buy this software. I still think it's the best digital photo software for the price, but if things don't improve I will start to look elsewhere.
