    "Simple yet Perfect"

    August 4, 2008  |   By Cambeie

It's a small program, no fuss-no muss, it handles every image file -I've- ever come across, and it's easy to use. One of my favorite things to do is take a screenshot of a game I'm playing (World of Warcraft, The Sims 2, etc) by hitting the PrtScn button, then open Irfanview, go to Edit and choose Paste. Puts your screenshot right in the window and you can edit it and save it as you like. =) ALSO, a very nice scrolling feature.... when you open an image in a folder, you'll find arrows in the bar above the image. If there are other images in that folder, you can easily skim through them.

I wish I could pick and choose what TYPES of files Irfanview scrolls through in a directory. Most times I only want to see the images but it tries to play sounds and movies and shows a picture image of text docs. Quick and easy to pass them, just click the arrow again. But still mildly annoying.
