    "Doesn't install on 64-bit Windows"

    May 23, 2011  |   By chili_picante

Looks good on paper and seems to have the features I want.

I could not install, because it is 32-bit software.

I hope by posting this, someone can prove me wrong, so I can get this software installed. I could not install on 64-bit Windows, because of an error that says 32-bit software cannot be installed on 64-bit Vista.

This is my reply to spartain. It is not utter nonsense. Nowhere did a say that it would not run on 32-bit Windows. I just stated that I could not get it installed, which is a fact. I was asking for help, and you provided none at all.

Utter nonsense. I am running Mixcraft on 64-bit Windows 7 with no problems at all, as are many others (XP, Vista and 7) who contribute to the Mixcraft forum. 64-bit Windows systems can usually run 32-bit software with no problem at all, the usual exception being some games. Assuming your operating system is kosher, and not some dodgy pirated software, I would suggest a thorough scan with both anti-virus and anti-malware (I use Avast 64-bit and Malwarebytes). If that fails I suggest you reinstall from another disc.
