    "Get 1.3, not 1.2"

    Vast improvements in stability and features over 1.2.6. Actually works well with Vista/7.

    Summary

    I can't emphasize enough how improved 1.3 is over 1.2.6. It makes all the difference on anything but the simplest projects. I consider 1.2.6 to be a two star product that is not competitive with paid products. 1.3 has everything I need for efficiently cleaning and converting vinyl to digital. Critical feature improvements include improved noise reduction controls, locked playback loops, better matching of spectrum and waveform, automated waveform repair, label track improvements, and the ability to select exported tracks using solo/mute. 1.3 hasn't crashed yet. 1.2.6 had multiple crashes and once lost the ability to save. The choice is a no-brainer.
