    "company mergers leave consumers without support."

    Many of the features of CD Spin Doctor was have been broken by updates to OS-X. Capture plug in was broken with 10.6.2. This is also when Roxio was acquired by Corel. Spin Doctor X

    Summary

    CD Spin Doctor was part of Toast Titanium 10 (Toast Titanium 11 has Spin Doctor X) Toast was published by Roxio. They were acquired by Corel a few years ago and this product is no longer being supported or updated by Corel/Roxio. CD Spin Doctor was actually not created by Sonic Solutions. Unfortunately Sonic solutions also has been acquired by Rovi.

    Based on their website they don't support CD Spin Doctor (Or Spin Doctor X) directly and with Corel leaving Toast by the wayside I can't recommend either of these products.

    Of note: Corel does at least make the appearance of trying to support Toast, although their support portal simply runs you in circles without actually finding any answer or being able to submit a ticket about toast.
