"Audacity: How to fix QuickTime audio problem"
This is a great program that enables me to record analog audio from a simple tape player and convert it to MP3 files (podcasting sermons for my church web site).
It completely killed QuickTime's audio delivery system! Apple Support was stumped and was about to send me on an archive and install crusade. Luckily, I came across a forum posting in which it was discovered simply launching GarageBand apparently repairs corrupted QuickTime libraries.
Will I consider reinstalling Audacity? Yes - but I'm a little shy about breaking QuickTime again.
