Identity Patrol

"Works great."
Pros
On a tip my county sheriffs office asked for permission to look at my computer. Of course there was nothing to be found. They thanked me and left. When I ran Identity Patrol, it found a key logger, and Trojan that hadn't been there the day before, and successfully removed them.
Cons
IDpatrol will report several of it's own files.
When you delete them IDpatrol needs to be updated and restores those files where they are found on the next scan.
If you tell IDpatrol to ignore these files, they won't be flagged again.Summary
Over all IDpatrol is a very good program. It catches spyware before it can download to your computer.
I've been using it for several years, and with the exception shown in Cons:, I've been very satisfied.
I noted a complaint that IDpatrol doesn't update every day. Mine hasn't updated in a month and a half. This doesn't mean that it's not up to date. This isn't an antivirus that can need updating daily.
