"Just Wondering..."
Summary
This review was originally posted on VersionTracker.com.
Interarchy went through a strange period awhile back where it seemed like it had lost its way, and the ratings reflect this history. You also had to dig deeper into the documentation to properly understand what the app could do, which thrilled the guys with the propeller beanies, but not the rest of us. Things seemed to have changed with v.8, though, and garden variety ftp connections and bookmarks are intuitive, and expanatory text accompanies all actions in the "Connect to server" dialog box. Nice.
Other features require a little research, but once you understand how things work, workflow with Interarchy becomes simple and bulletproof. Using Applescript, I mirror upload changes to local files with one mouse click. Interarchy opens up, mirrors the specified local and remote files, and quits. One mouse click...it's so easy it's almost laughable.
