"Negligable results, can cause stability problems"

    August 5, 2003  |

I've tried using this program on my 56K modem, and my friend tried it on his 3Mb/s cable connection - even with extensive manual tweaking, the results from this program were pretty negligible on both computers - and my friend's machine became unstable after using it. At best, it's barely worth trying out - but I can almost guarantee it won't be worth your money, and it may destabilize your network connections. I would recommend TuneUp Utilities 2003, which is also carried on this site - I've had excellent all-around results with that on multiple computers, both broadband and dial-up.
