"My singular choice for consolidated IM clients"

    May 25, 2011  |   By EdEllks

Visually pleasing, nice sounds. Pro version gives access to web-based chat. You can have multiple IM clients all running and they all show up in one contact list instead of one per client. It truly pulls them all together.

My biggest complaint is that it requires constant access to Trillian's servers, even with the Pro version. My company allowed some chat clients but not access to Trillian itself, so it killed this app for me.

If it didn't have to "phone home" just to start up the client, it would have easily have gotten 5 stars. All in all, it's a fantastic utility that I've used for about a decade now. They don't make leaps-and-bounds progress, but they keep what they have relatively stable and up to date.
