    "iTunes is a basic well-designed media player."

    Pros

    1) It can sync all ipods classic/nanos/shuffles/touch and all iphones.
    2) It can organize your music into folders so you don't have to be organizing manually.
    3) It has a store for any form of media.
    4) It has the ability to make folders & Playlist.

    Cons

    Lacks compatibility with some basic video formats, probably because that's how they protect the digital rights. Genius bar has some inconvenient flaws. Compatibility issues with Windows Vista service pack 1.

    Summary

    It may have a few issues as most new software has, but overall it is a very complete program that can make playing music smooth and easy. You can organize your music by making playlists and separate them with folders. And finally, the music store has a great variety of songs and videos.
