"Bloated, power-hungry, inefficient, DRM, and much more!"
The music store has a decent collection.
Selection of music does nothing for me.
This program is a resource hog.
It is slow in all aspects: booting, conversion, ripping, etc.
Once a song is either bought from iTunes or put in the AAC format, short of burning it to a CD, good luck trying to do anything with that song but put it on an iPod (an inferior product as well). DRM is EVERYWHERE.
iTunes 7 finally copied the Winamp user-friendly interface that showed artists, abums, and songs all in one screen. When you hit that little eye button it would show that. No longer! Now you can only view your music in this jumbled selection of songs. Useless. Thanks, Apple!
It is ONLY for iPods. That's fine with me, iPods bite anyways, but I'm sure some people would want to use this product with their Zen or their Zune or what not. Why they would want to is beyond me, though.
All told, this program really blows. It has since its inception, and it probably always will. Let me mark up yet ANOTHER unsatisfactory experience with Apple products: Mac, iPod, iTunes, AppleTV, iPhone. All of them have not worked for me. And this update hasn't changed anything.
