"iTunes Crashes Vista to Blue Screen of Death!!!"
Pros
Downloaded and installed iTunes 8 this morning, hooked up my iPhone 3G and got the blue screen of death. Did it twice more. Looking at the Apple forums, it looks like it is happening to alot of people running Vista. Pro? Didn't blow up my computer.
Cons
Cons? Some people are reporting they have to restore their Vista machines after iTunes 8 crashed it (luckily not I). C'mon Apple, where is your quality control!!? First it was Mobile Me and now iTunes 8. CNET con? they won't let me rate it zero stars
Summary
Where can I download iTunes 7.7 because iTunes 8 is a piece of #$%@!!!
It's the HP printer. Unplug it and it should work. Not sure what will happen when I plug the HP printer back in though.

This is where you can get all older versions of Itunes :) Good if you want to revert back to 7.7.1.11 -
Unplugged my HP printer and it worked. Seems to be the underlying factor. Not sure what will happen when I plug it back in though. Still don't understand why syncing in iTunes 7.7 was fine and iTunes 8 crashes the computer if an HP computer is attached.
