"Nice, but unsatisfying."
Easy to use because of the clear interface lay-out, which gives you all stations (both radio and TV) at a glance in alphabetical order. Doesn't seem to need a lot of recources, memory-wize.
Cool, when not too picky.
As with a lot of similar software, it is *not* a TV-Tuner as such, because you are stuck with a list of what different countries have to offer as *downstream* material. Not the same as live TV, I'm affraid. Because in a lot of the cases, what you get are prerecorded items that launch when clickced, so that you can wind-up (in the case of the US 'ABC News') with data from September 2001, or a news item from April 2007 (dutch NOS news)...
Mainstream Channels are often only visible in the list as pale grey, which means they are *momentarily* unavailable. But an inconvenient is that the word *momentarily* seems to be very stretchy, which has me wondering if those known channels are just sitting there to embellish the list...
A secon *big* inconvenient, is the fact that people with a capped transfer rate, will see their provided bytes go down the drain pretty fast when watching dense streams of 500k and higher.
When living in a country that has DAB/DVB, do like me and buy a USB antenna with built-in tuner, and you'll have TV on yer screen in digital splendor, unhampered by provided bitrate and/or the random decisions by the providers of downstream TV...
