    "Not impressed"

    February 5, 2009  |   By BarbieLee

    Pros

    Nothing so far

    Cons

It didn't find the program and when I used the Hunter Mode to point to it and uninstall the message was. "No Installation Package Found! ........try to uninstall it manually!"

Why do they think I looked for an uninstaller? Okay, back to DOS.

    Summary

The jury is still out on this program but so far zero as an uninstaller. I've had better ones that grabbed hold of the programs and no matter how locked down the program was when the computer was turned off the program died. Symantec is the particular program I am wrestling with at the moment. As an old ex programmer I can pretty well handle anything. Mouse pointing and clicking to get rid of things is nice and quick when it works. When it doesn't we do it the old fashion way. Hello DOS my old friend, how you been? We have some dirty nasty heavy lifting to do so let's get to it. Let's tame Windows XP one more time.

In reply to " Not Impressed", firstly DOS died in 2000, 9 years ago...... good grief !!, maybe she uses valves in her steam radio LOL!!, for free this is an amazing program... strange how free yields complaints, no one in 1st class complains about nut allergies...... if you get my drift !!
