"Works great and is free !"

    April 7, 2013  |   By pawpaw70

    Pros

I have used this product for several years and find it to be convienient and easy to use. With one click, you can see what exactly is running at startup.

    Cons

The only con is that once you see what all is in operation, I am a litle cautious as to what Ishould change and what to leave alone ! Some programs , I could probably eliminate from startup and use shortcuts later, if needed, but I think maybe some of these little bits, might be used by my primary startup programs. Some information might be added to the program to help users decide what to limit on startup.

    Summary

Except for the comments in the box above, I would recommend this program to anyone. It is easy to use and I have found no software glitches to mess up the computer, it is good and free !

(Sorry for duplicate of first post)

You click on the help button for help or links to a manual or an online community but its just an "about" pop up menu - in other words NO HELP! Then you go to the folder of the installed program and look for a .txt file to open because once in a while the utility creator will give you some basic instructions and tips. Again you find nothing. So back to Google in search of help hoping to find at least one person, site or forum that can help. Again nothing...

Then you go to all your favorite tech forums and ask if anyone can help you understand this UI. But no one does. At this point you realize you've spent about 30 hours over the last week or so trying to find help or figure it out with zero results - an entire week wasted.

    Frustration deepens.

    All hope is lost again.

A sad ending to a familiar tale.....
Either that or I'm being overly dramatic.... lol

I understand your frustration completely, many utility programs are described as these great and wonderful tools for this/that. And you think "OMG FINALLY after years of trying to figure out how to make a windows feature actually work I can do this thing I've wanted to do for so long but didn't know how... and you get all excited - maybe its a new task you would like to create or its something you've never understood but need to so you can make it work FOR you. You've searched online and in books over the years for answers but either couldn't find one or if you did the fix was so complicated, beyond your understanding and involved going into areas you're were not comfortable with (DOS, BIOS, REGISTRY, etc.) But now....
    Hope is born once again.
So you DL & install the program, open it up stare at the UI, look at the tabs, drop downs, tools, settings etc., for an understanding of how to use the program. Only to become more confused then you were before you installed it!
