"Better than Grab"
Pros
Better user interface than Grab that comes with my Mac.
Cons
None really, but I could still not capture a frame from a DVD, but this because of Apple, not this program.
Summary
The tools to capture a selection, window or the entire screen just work better than Grab that came with my computer. The SnapNDrag shortcut now lives at the bottom of my screen with my other shortcuts.

Dan, if you want to catch a paused DVD or online streaming video frame too, Mac OS X (not referring to grab, but OS X built in options) will let you with a few very simple key commands. Its easy to get a screen shot, or just the window, or select a specific area on the screen and capture it saved either to desktop or one of several last visited folders.
