    "Free to a certain extent !"

    Pros

    It works but it is not the only one !

    Cons

    When the job is done ,you are blackmailed to pay in the gentle form of donation.I got angry and switched to "Recuva" also free and I felt really free ,then removed the last in order to avoid spy code !It is awful to be blackmailed !

    I assume you don't tip for good service either. Nobody owes you free software, asking for a donation is not blackmail -- just giving you an opportunity to show appreciation and to support ongoing effort from the developer.

    Just to clarify, you used Pandora Recovery to successfully recover your files, got upset when you were asked if you wish to support the developer by making a donation and decided to permanently delete files recovered by Pandora Recovery because you felt you are being blackmailed?
