    "Did more damage"

    September 22, 2008  |   By TBolt

I see no benefits to using this program - it did more harm than good, to be honest.

I ran this registry defrag utility on Vista Home Premium 64-bit. During a subsequent reboot, I noticed some irregularities -- most noticeable was that the login screen was smeared across the screen (only for a second or two, but still...). WTH?

I do not recommend using this utility at all. A system restore was needed to undo the damage that this program did to my computer. Fortunately, the system restore solved the problem.

I uninstalled Auslogics' Registry Defrag utility immediately. But, I'm still using their Disk Defrag utility, which is a totally different utility than this one.
