"Great program - Lousy company"
This thing just keeps digging. It even recovered files on an external Firewire drive that XP ate, which Microsoft said was impossible.
The company is terrible to deal with. I explained that a drive was rendered dead when Windows XP crashed, a unknown bug prior to SP2. Their tech had me buy the FAT32 Version. Hey, who am I to argue with them? Of course it didn't work. I tried a Demo copy of the NTFS version over the weekend and it saw everything! On Monday they confirmed that their own person advised me to buy the wrong product, but refused to make it right. They wouldn't even let me pay the difference between the single file version and the multiple file version, they wanted the full price on the new product too. I was stuck with buying the other version too or kissing the drive contents goodbye. Yes, I paid, but then they were still snotty about the whole thing! Every time I have had to deal with them for someone else they behave the same way. I just don't get them. If you use their product you have to figure you are on your own and seek help in the forums.
