"TRUECRYPT IS NO LONGER UNBREAKABLE!!!"
Pros
TrueCrpyt provides excellent on the fly encryption as well as the options to create a hidden volume.
Cons
With the onslaught of products like "Passware Kit Forensic," TrueCrypt is no longer a viable encryption solution.

In conclusion, I gave this product a 2.5 star rating because while it is no longer able to prevent decryption, it still makes for a great research-project, to say the least.
While it may seem that some very extenuating circumstances need to be met in order for a program such as "Passware Kit Forensic" to work, True-Crypt is still not out of the woods completely, especially when you consider it's vulnerabilities to an "Evil-Maid" attack...

ummm....
year 2009.... the year 2009.
You're basing your update on an article a few years old.
Why not base it on what is NOW.... -
I dont think so, If you know how to do a better password longer than 8 characters then you should be at a top security protection. thats why truecrypt offers a 2nd authentication to even further its capabilities.. even without the 2nd authentication if you have atleast a 128 bit strong password then I dont think Passware Kit Forensic can crack open your encrypted file.

Truecrypt is still as secure as its ever been, however you need to follow a few guidelines so your archive can't be cracked into.
-Never set your computer to hibernate with a truecrypt disk mounted
-As soon as you're done using your archive, dismount it
-Don't leave a hard disk mounted for long periods of time
-Use a long password (As always)
Their exploit requires that you have kept your disk mounted either during a hibernation, or that they have access to your computer while a disk is mounted. If you don't let either of those happen, you're good to go.
