"Absolutely The BEST Encryption Software Ever!"

    September 25, 2010  |   By tom_e_boi

    Pros

Everything! This software runs seamlessly on any operating system. It should be ranked #1 among any encryption software available on here. This software covers just about every issue you can think of. Not bad for free, open source software. :)

    Cons

Absolutely NONE! Well, tho I would suggest that you should be somewhat computer literate. At least study up on TrueCrypt's website before attempting to use. But other than that, an otherwise excellent program! :)

    Summary

I absolutely LOVE using this software! Just study up on how to use it, and you shouldn't have any problems with it. This is the 1st time I've used any encryption software and haven't had any issues. The program runs seamlessly in the background w/o slowing down your computer. It also gives you the option to create a hidden system that's completely undetectable to anybody you don't want knowing it's there. So if you're ever forced to give up the password, just give them the decoy password, leaving your hidden drive completely out of sight. I also love it for the fact that I use it on my laptop, so if it's ever lost or stolen, nobody will ever be able to use it or access any of my information that's locked away on the hard drive. When encrypting your system's drive, it gives you the option to pause and defer the encryption, in case you need to shut down your computer, and resume right where it left off. I've also successfully encrypted my 1TB ext HDD w/o running into any problems at all. On their website, they posted an article about a guy who used their software on his computer, and not even the FBI wuz able to crack the encryption algorithym after trying for well over an entire year. Not bad for a free program. Everybody should be using this software... :)
